Install first

For offline field use this app must be installed to your home screen:

  1. Tap the Share button ↑ in Safari
  2. Choose Add to Home Screen
  3. Open Redact Photo from your home screen

Installing keeps the app and its detection model available with no network connection, and protects it from Safari's storage cleanup.

One-time repair needed

The offline detection model is missing from this device (the operating system may have cleared storage). Connect to a trusted network once and retry — nothing about your photos is sent anywhere.

Redact a photo

Nothing is saved by this app until you export. Closing mid-edit discards the photo.

For an evidence-of-record original, photograph with your phone's camera app first, then Choose photo. Photos taken directly here may not be saved to your phone's gallery.
